New Gym Forum Online

In our greater plans of building the community that is and surrounds Stevie B’s Gym, we’ve now added the new Forum where you can post and discuss subjects to your heart’s content.

We actually had a forum a long time ago, which some of you may remember, back on the old website that was created in 2003 or so.  However, that forum ended up getting filled with spam, so became overrun with junk so rapidly that we couldn’t police it.

Hopefully this new system is better.

You will have to register with the forum to make any posts, but that helps make the place more personal and prevents spam too.

Let us know how you get on.  There will be some tweaks that we can make to improve it in the future, so feel free to give us constructive feedback.  Right now, we’re happy to have this feature brought back from the dead!

We apologise…

Over the coming couple of weeks, we’ll be adding and testing new features to this gym website.  These will be some really great things to boost our community spirit, accessibility, and ability to teach fitness and exercise routines.

However, as we can’t test these things without taking the site down, it may be that some things get broken or temporarily stop working.  If that’s the case, please forgive us, while we make the improvements to our systems!

We hope you’ll enjoy the coming changes, as they will be for your benefit!

New Year, New Goals

Well, it’s a big year now, 2010.  Time for you to stop talking about getting fit, and really mean it.

In order to succeed, you need to have goals to aim for.  We’ll happily discuss with you what can be achievable and in what timeframe – so whether you want to get in shape for your wedding, a fight, a compeition or any other reason, we’re here to guide you in the right direction.

Just ensure that whatever your goals are this year, you don’t lose sight of them!

All 'Beef-Up' Videos online now

For those of you wanting to get bigger, you’ll be pleased to see that the remaining Beef Up videos which were filmed in 2005 have been uploaded, and can be found over on this page.

Some sessions are missing, as they simply weren’t filmed – sorry about that.

However, there is still lots for you to learn, and at the end of the last video, you will get to see the result of the training for yourself.  Not bad going for 12 weeks [hard] graft!

Enjoy these videos – provided for you Free of Charge.

More Beef-Up vids

We’ve uploaded more videos, and added them to the Beef-Up page. Give these a watch, learn something, and try it out!

More to come…..

More videos

As part of our ongoing improvement to the site, we have added in more vdeos on the Videos page – entries both for the Fitness for Life clips, and some (more to come) of the very successful 12 week beef-up program we filmed in 2005.

Watch these for learning and entertainment purposes, like we said, on the videos page!

New Website Launched

Hey everyone!

We’re pleased to say that our website has received its long due overhaul, replacing our previous site which was created way back in 2004!

This site has been designed to be easy for us to post news, videos and pictures for you all, as well as giving you emails with FREE advice and tips etc. We hope it’ll build upon the community feel of Stevie B’s Gym for you!

We hope to have the forums up and running soon again too, so you’ll have somewhere highly relevant to discuss what’s going on in the gym, plus in the fitness and martial arts worlds.

Stevie B’s Gym & Martial Arts Academy – probably the best gym in Birmingham and the UK!

New Building arrangements

construction[1]

Work will start on July 20th to revamp the whole building.

This work will affect car parking to a minor degree during day time hours, as a new frontage and roof will be erected during the summer holiday period. It is at great expense that management have been able to implement the first part of our ten year plan of further development.

We would be most grateful for your co-operation concerning works being carried out.

Client success, consistency figures up

A recent study carried out concerning private client s, shows evidence supporting the fact that the longevity of trainer/ client relationships are up due to fitness gains and competitive prices offered by trainers and coaches at Stevie B’s.

We discovered that clients in general are staying with the same coaches for periods of up to six times longer than those that experienced in 2004.

This is a remarkable achievement considering the economical climate. Management are of the opinion that this is also down to the fact that the organisation administrate a minimal charge which allows the trainers to bring tuition prices down.

Tommy's gloves are back on

Interesting to see boxing coach Tommy Pender drawing an interesting crowd of onlookers when he had his first sparring session in nearly 20 years.

Tom looked fantastic against a very good opponent, every ounce the predator, he was a younger Man (good job he can control it). Rumor has it Tommy had to take his frustration out on in the ring due to extensive decorating duties at home
